COMPETENCY

Management/leadership experience for the last four years.

Earned a Bachelor’s in Economics/Business, graduating cum laude from Wheaton College. Obtained MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

I have management experience in retail, education, coaching, and most recently construction. I have been fortunate to lead district-wide sales meetings, multiple retail construction/promotional projects, coached collegiate athletes, and helped reposition a small construction company through the acquisition of another company. All in all, I’ve played multiple roles that allowed me to help institute positive change and improvement for multiple organizations.

My passion is people – understanding their needs and doing whatever I can to help them be successful. Servant leadership is the best way to motivate others to maximize their own potential.

FUN FACTS

Wind-bagging is not my thing, yet a certain person at CopperRock wants it known that I graduated with the highest GPA and I won the John Henry Award for toughest player on my college football team.

My wife and I recently relocated to West Michigan from Chicago.

I grew up in Indiana, which helps to explain my southern “twang”. I love the outdoors, and I love to be active. I played college football as an offensive lineman (I love the BIGS). Working out is always a go-to for me.

I have been on three mission trips – one of which I led. The locations were Senegal, Dominican Republic, and South Africa.
